Thanks to a kind offer from Oakham School, and the support of local organisations such as Voluntary Action Rutland, Transition Rutland have the use of a town-centre shop to allow the people of Rutland to engage with the community, their landscape, local food and energy awareness.
Week by week, we’ll be running themes and opening up the shop at lunchtimes, Wednesdays and some evenings for a mixture of practical help, information, books, someone to talk to about particular themes, how to get involved with things you enjoy, and inspiration and education.
Keep an eye on our blog and the local press/shops for more information. We’re on Market Street near the Buttercross and Marketplace.
