Rutland Skill-share- practical learning that’s free and fun. Transition Rutland are launching a new network in the county this summer that’s creating a learning community with informal skill-sharing workshops run by volunteer trainers.
Soon we’ll be launching a website to support this. At the moment we’re looking for people who have a skill or knowledge to share, and we’ll help you learn how to teach and share this. Elsewhere, similar schemes have got people sharing skills on everything from bee-keeping and weaving, to growing your own veg and sustainable building.
We also want to encourage the people of Rutland to learn new skills in a relaxed, friendly and informal manner. We think you’ll gain confidence, new skills, meet new people, and there’s no fee, and no commitment. You’re right, it is an amazing scheme, which is why we are proud to be launching this soon.
Sounds interesting? Good, then please get in contact at transitionrutland at gmail.com
